Holiday Programs & Intensive Courses
Throughout the year, we run a range of holiday programs and intensive courses designed to help students get ahead before the next school term begins.
These programs may be run by Timothy Engdahl Tutoring or in collaboration with other experienced teachers, allowing students to benefit from subject-specific expertise.
Subjects Available
Holiday programs will be available
for students in Years 11 and 12 studying:
- Mathematics Standard
- Mathematics Advanced
- Mathematics Extension 1
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- English
Science Intensive Courses
Our science intensive programs are designed to give students early exposure to upcoming syllabus content.
These classes focus on specific modules that students will study in the following school term.
The goal is not to replace classroom learning, but to:
- – Introduce key concepts early
- – Build foundational understanding
- – Reduce the learning curve when the topic is introduced at school
Students who attend these programs often find they are able to understand new material much faster once it appears in the classroom.
Mathematics Intensive Courses
Mathematics intensives focus on key topics likely to appear in the upcoming school term.
Students will:

- – Develop problem-solving strategies
By encountering these topics early, students gain the confidence and familiarity needed to perform strongly during the school term.
English Writing Programs
English intensives focus on specific writing forms commonly assessed in senior English courses.
These programs break down how to construct high-quality responses, including:

- – Discursive writing
- – Analytical responses
Students will learn clear frameworks and techniques that help them structure their writing effectively and respond to exam questions with confidence.
